ABOUT LYON PRIDE ROOFING INC

I started roofing houses over 35 years ago in the Grand Island, NE area learning from my father and later from Jim Bennett of Bennett Construction. I completed roofing projects on the side while working another full time job for 10 years. Eventually the word got out about my roofing work and the quality of my workmanship. The roofing projects started rolling in and I could not keep up with the work by myself. Now over 30 years ago, I started my official business and hired my first employees.

Learning a lot over the 35 years of roofing experiences, I have been able to develop many excellent contacts, contractors, and customers. I have learned to streamline many processes making my company and employees very efficient. I train my employees to complete projects exactly to my standards always treating customers’ property as if it were our own. Myself and my employees are highly trained to include OSHA safety standards training annually.

Since starting my own business, we have developed into a company that not only completes many different types of roofing projects, but also has added siding, soffit, fascia, gutters and downspouts. Our reputation proceeds us with evidence of that through the many repeat customers and the 35 different new construction contractors we roof for in Central Nebraska. The contractors we work for appreciate my excellent organizational skills and my ability to communicate well about their projects so the work is completed exactly the way the contractors want the work completed. These same skills are used for all of my customers.

My employees work for me and are not subcontractors. All of my employees live in the Grand Island area and take pride in their community. All of my employees are covered by workers comp insurance thus protecting all of my customers from liability issues. My goal is to develop my company in order to maintain longevity in the Central Nebraska area to serve the many customers we have developed and to cultivate more customers.
